Editing post 2 blog

We spent  about 2 hours  editing this week, focusing on fine-tuning sound effects and transitions.  Chrisleah and janaii worked   on adjusting audio levels, while  audrianna and kennise  focused on color grading and cutting scenes smoothly. Additional Filming: We decided to do some extra filming to capture  close-up shots and reaction scenes  that make the story more intense. These new shots will help fill in gaps and add more emotion to key moments.

Editing post 1 blog

We used adobe premiere to edit our videos which allows us to fine-tune every scene and we applied color grading to enhance the mood and make scenes more vibrant and flickering light effects we used fade ins and cross dissolves challenges we came across was matching the audio with the sound and used audio sync to fix that problem Janaii edited the scenes she didn’t take any screenshots but we will add them soon

Lighting blog post

We used bright light for happy scenes and dim light for serious or scary parts. This helped show how the characters were feeling and made the scenes more interesting. When we were editing, we also changed the lighting a bit. We made some scenes brighter or darker and used warm colors for happy parts and cool colors for serious parts. We fixed shadows and made the light look softer to make the scenes look nicer. Overall, the lighting helped a lot to show the mood and make the film look better and played a huge and important role in our film.

Group dynamics

For this project me and my group have been doing great working together. We do try to always work together on projects and assignments because it gives better results in the end from us helping each other. Even with obstacles we still push through to get our film done. Some of us might be better at editing then the others and some might be better at filming then the others with this it allows us to all take a task and get our stuff done at a quicker pace. As for myself the remembering lines part is the hardest as I can get easily mixed up or just simply forget what it is that I am needed to say at that given time. But as stated before even with obstacles my group is still pushing through and putting our best foot forward.

Sound blog post

Editing Software Used: We use Adobe Audition to clean up audio, adjust levels, and mix in sound effects and music. Who Did What? •    chrusleah focused on cleaning up dialogue, removing background noise, and syncing audio with video. •    Janai and audriana worked on layering and adjusting sound effects for a more immersive atmosphere. •    kennise selected and integrated music from the provided copyright-free tracks. Sound Design Choices: •    Diegetic Sound: We enhanced footsteps, rustling leaves, and distant city noise to maintain realism in the park scene. •    Non-Diegetic Sound: We added a soft, eerie score during the later scenes to build suspense. •    Music Selection: We chose vampire Drac because its tone transitions from warm and peaceful to tense, matching the mood shift in the story
